A beautiful edition of the 2.55 Reissue, originally created in February 1955. After Mademoiselle Chanel's comeback to the fashion world in 1954 she decided to update her original design she created in 1929 with a chain so as to be hands free. This being the result. The 50th Anniversary celebrated in 2005 by releasing an exact copy was the first edition of the "Reissue".This version created with distressed leather with lovely gold hardware is beautiful. The chain design was inspired by the key chains the nuns wore when she growing up in the orphanage. A historic piece full of inspiration from Her Majesty Chanel.
