A beautiful vintage black flap Chanel crossbody bag with the iconic CC gold hardware detail. There is a hallmark on the CC showing us that the gold hardware is plated in 24k gold. Chanel stopped plating with real gold in late 2008. There are some lovely Chanel branding details on this bag, under the flap the CC is stitched. From the serial number on the ity card we know this bag was made between 1986-1988.
This bag is in very good vintage condition, with minimal signs of wear, please view all photos before buying. Inside the bag the leather lining is also in very good vintage condition, rare for a bag of this age. The serial sticker is still attached to the inside of the bag but has been damaged. This bag comes with its original dust bag and ity card.
For reference the model in the images is 5ft 10 inches. The chain drop is 42cm.
