This is part of the fashion house's novel approach of incorporating a "touch" of exotic leather, introduced a few years ago and extended to Kellys, Picotins, and Baton de Craie's. As a "Limited Edition", the Touch Birkin stands out as an iconic rarity, usually characterized by 'touches' of crocodile or alligator leather on selected parts while the main body remains Togo or Novillo leather, with Togo typically paired with shiny croc/alligator and Novillo with matte. Despite this usual pairing, there are exceptions, and the Touch Birkin is released in a limited color palette, adding to its exclusivity.
