It is a large, envelope top, shoulder bag made of supple black leather with a large gold equestrian accent at the center where it closes & sides where the strap is attached. The multi-compartment purse has an expandable, accordion style bottom, so it can hold a lot more than you might think & the strap has 2 settings. The bag's suede lining is very clean with no signs of peeling & the serial #22.001.2064.
Gucci has re-released this style as 1955 Horsebit for $2500- This purse is identical!
